Phases of Conflict. In Chapter One of Peace Operations, the four phases of conflict are discussed and diagrammed (Figure 1.1). Of these phases, select the phase that you believe is most difficult to achieve and sustain. You must then address the following regarding your selection: 

1. Explain why you selected this particular phase.
2. Explain the difference from the other phases in degree of difficulty of attainment.
3. Describe the single most important aspect of this phase.
4. Summarize a real-world mission of this phase and explain how it supports your opinions.

The paper must be at least three pages in length (excluding the title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must use at least two scholarly sources, one of which can be found in the Ashford University Library, and the textbook to support your points. Cite your sources within the text of your paper and on the reference page.
